Return and Refund Policy

1. Scope and Intent

The policies in this document reflect the general store policies of Summit Ridge Supply, located at summitridgesupply.com ("Website"). Our goal is to make returns, refunds, and shipping as smooth and fair as possible. In some cases, we are required to follow more restrictive policies set by a product’s supplier. For that reason, our policies may vary by product. When this occurs, any policy included on the individual product page will take precedence over the general store policy outlined here.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to any product-specific policies provided on the corresponding product page.

3. Return Eligibility

Customers may cancel their purchase and return the product within 30 days of receipt without providing any reason, subject to the conditions outlined below:

•  The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that it was received.
•  The item must be in the original packaging, including all tags, manuals, and accessories.
•  Proof of purchase is required (e.g., order confirmation or receipt).
•  A restocking fee of 25% may apply for large or heavy items.

4. Return Process

  1. Contact us at support@summitridgesupply.com within 30 days of receiving the product. Provide your order number and a detailed reason for the return request.
  2. After reviewing your request, we will provide return instructions, including any applicable return authorization and shipping details.
  3. Package the item securely using the original packaging, and ensuring all accessories, manuals, and free gifts are included. Include the return authorization form and any necessary supporting documents or images inside the package.
  4. The shipping method will be indicated with the return label. Affix the label to the outside of the package. Ship the item within 5 business days of receiving return instructions.

5. Return Shipping Costs

•  Customer pays return shipping costs for returns due to change of mind or incorrect ordering. 
•  We pay return shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect items due to our error.

6. Specific Return and Refund Conditions

6.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind

•  Eligibility: Items must meet all conditions listed in Section 3.
•  Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of 25% may apply for large or heavy items.
•  Return Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
•  Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus applicable shipping and restocking fees.

6.2 Defective or Damaged Goods

•  Notification: Contact us within 5 days of delivery.
•  Documentation: Provide photos or videos of the defect or damage.
•  Resolution: We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

6.3 Incorrect Product Received

•  Notification: Inform us immediately upon receipt.
•  Documentation: Provide photos or videos of the incorrect item.
•  Resolution: We will arrange for the incorrect item to be returned (at our expense) and ensure the correct product is shipped.

6.4 Product Never Arrived

•  Notification: Contact us if your product does not arrive within the estimated delivery window.
•  Resolution: We will initiate an investigation with the carrier and either reship or refund depending on the result.

6.5 Order Cancellation

•  Before Shipment: Orders can be canceled for a full refund if not yet shipped.
•  After Shipment: If already shipped, please follow the return procedure outlined above after receiving.

7. Exceptions to the Return Policy

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

•  Custom or personalized products
•  Perishable goods
•  Intimate or sanitary goods (unless unopened)
•  Gift cards or downloadable digital products

8. Refunds

8.1 Refund Conditions

• Refunds will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item.
• You will be notified via email whether the refund was approved or rejected.
• Items must meet the eligibility criteria in Section 3.

8.2 Refund Processing

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
• It may take up to 14 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

8.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds or store credit may be granted in certain situations:

• Items returned late, damaged, or missing components for reasons not due to our error.
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

9. Exchanges

• We replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

• We cover shipping for defective or incorrect items. Customer pays shipping for exchanges due to change of mind.

10. Timelines

• Return Window: Returns due to change of mind must be reported and shipped within 30 days of receiving the product. Returns due to defected or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receiving the product.
• Return Processing: Within 10 business days of receiving the return
• Refund Appearance: May take up to 14 days post-approval

11. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
